Today we celebrated Pop's 60th birthday at the Plant. Today was the last day the plant was running before Summer Shut-down. Each summer for 2 weeks the plant shuts down so everyone gets their summer vacation at the same time. It is done because it is easier to do that then to have people in and out during the summer.
So today we had a dinner at the plant. My mom cooked a Ham, Baked Potato, Cinnamon Apples, salad, and rolls. I made a German Chocolate Cake (from scratch). My mom also brought donuts in. All foods Pop's loves. It was a very nice time.
